Pam and Family, We happened to be in Savannah this weekend as Mama, Evelyn McKenzie, was in the hospital. Mama asked me to read the paper and this is when we saw the news concerning your mother. Eve was a dedicated member of Victory Drive Baptist for so many years. I believe that she and Ida were Charter members. She was a real Southern lady and a wonderful example to all of the young girls. I remember saying that I wanted to be just like her when I grew up. She will be missed.

Pam, Theresa and family members, We were so sorry to hear of Ms. Evelyn's passing. I got to know her while my Dad was at the nursing home. She was always smiling. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless You.

Pam, Theresa and family, I was so sad to hear about your mom's passing. She always had a smile for me at Azalea. I know how much your heart aches and please know that my thoughts are with all of you during this time. Yal took such great care of her and I know you are going to miss her terribly. She was a sweet, sweet lady and I was honored to have known her.
